I was hoping to use this in a home-brew battery guitar amp project but sadly it just doesn't have enough power
-
Like other reviews, you have to fined the right power supply.
-
Careful what you pay for with an amp, this will blow subs left and right just from giving super dirty power
-
It works great as a beginner amp, had some speakers laying around, had the popular lepai amp works great too, it definitely more power
-
ACTUAL Amplifier Power Requirements Depend on theSignal Feed Level, Volume Control Setting, and the Output Speaker Loading (impedance). The Amp, will work best with Speakers @ 8 to 4 Ohms, to get the desired best POWER TRANSFER to Speakers!4 Watts per Speaker, is NOT Un-realistic, and Actual Amperage Input
-
It has enough power for a small use case like this.
-
Make sure you purchase or have the correct power supply
-
This amp produces no apparent noise on its own but it will pass though some power supply noise, so I had to find a quiet power supply for it.
-
Works great powering a pair of bookshelf speakers that sit beside my TV, being driven by a shoebox computer system I use as a HiDef media player.
-
This is an excellent mini power amp.
-
I used the recommend power supply that others have used also.
-
Works ok, low power
-
It's industry practice, not just to save costs, but because a buyer can elect to give the amp more power or less power than recommended
-
Works well, powers some speakers for my PC
-
Works excellent, I use it to power bookshelf speakers in my RV.
-
It is not a good sounding amp even with ample power supply
-
Smart nice little amp nice sound and power
-
I would like a bit more power, but in this size case, which fits nicely in my center armrest storage, I can't really complain.
-
I hooked it up to a nice power supply 5A, Fed it with a sansa clip with Wav quality files, tried it with & without the new Fiio portable E11 Kilamanjaro amp, & to top it off sent that to a pair of Paradigm Atom S7 speakers, NOT efficient at 86db power hungry rating
-
It even works being powered from the phone line
-
I had an old Yamaha cube style speaker system with a powered subwoofer (like the Bose cubes) laying around.
-
Careful what you pay for with an amp, this will blow subs left and right just from giving super dirty power
-
it was a little plasticy but smooth knobs and easy, powered room at upper ambient volume, clipped at upper end
-
Great little mini power amp
-
Very good power for the little guy it is also a good nightlight if your not a fan of the dark like myself!
-
Buy a decent power supply, at least 4 amps
-
No power cord but works better than expected
-
I added the appropriate 12v power-supply with correct amperage rating.
-
Not quite enough power for the
-
The power is not an issue with headphones but the noise is.
-
I'm using it to power two outdoor speakers, and it works fine
-
This little amp has great sound and perfect power for a set of patio speakers
-
Doesn't put out much power, but that's really not an issue for $10, is it
-
RCA connectors are used as the R and L input, perfect.
