Decent enought to set up a nice sound system for working out
-
Of note - I have this hooked up through an Echo Dot (2nd gen); so understand I'm not comparing this to a robust audio system, just something that sounds good in the background when having people over or doing activities (like cleaning the house).
-
It makes my system sound great and well worth the cost
-
You aren't going to get amazing sound out of this but for a portable sound system, it can't be beat.
-
Functions great, but the LED system surrounding the volume control is pretty cheap
-
How cool is that? This system is somewhat more powerful and has a better frequency range than typical USB speakers, producing a decent sound with enough volume to fill my apartment living room without annoying the neighbors
-
Amp works perfectly with out distortion used with 80 watt 4 inch speakers for cooler system .
-
I can see this unit being part of a portable DIY sound system- easily
-
I have a decent system at my desk.
-
the only down side is that you can't plug in a bass, but if you have quality speakers with build in bass's then it is still a great sound system to have.
-
I used this to power some home audio speakers I had left over from a long dead 5.1 theater system
-
THD is little high at 0.10% but that's much less than the 10% THD you'll find on cheap, plastic sound systems or budget HT systems
-
If you have a couple of small speakers doing nothing, you can put together a decent office computer sound system with the addition of this under-ten-dollar amp and a twelve volt DC power adapter.
-
This amp is so small that you can even make a portable speaker system using a 12v battery pack
