I used the recommend power supply that others have used also.

This amp runs fine using a 2 amp wall transformer (wall wart)

well, it gets used daily and looks awesome

Use of this amplifier with the Zitrades 12 Volt power source is recommended to minimize noise and avoid shut down.

I used it to supply and support the use of earphones which wouldn't make enough sound for a partially deaf friend.

It works well for my purposes, but being a pretty unorthodox use for the amp, I can't really speak to it's audio quality.

Ample volume if used with higher efficiency speakers

It also runs fine using a pair of 6v lantern batteries

It has enough power for a small use case like this.

RCA connectors are used as the R and L input, perfect.

Best used with high efficiency speakers.
