I purchased this camera for a friend in Mexico, who subsequently told me that the camera took a half dozen photos and promptly died.

Wow, it looks like Kodak thought of just about everything when they designed this particular camera, and it even delivers a horde of pretty decent photos as well.

It appears that the screen on the camera is low quality but the camera does actually capture the photos very clear and vivid

This PixPro camera doesn't compare; the photos are okay but not as clear, color resolution not as good.
