It has a strong rubber smell which is kinda nauseating and also makes me wonder if it really is ok for my dog to be chewing and licking all the time

(I put that in quotes because I’ve never had this issue with a store-bought Kong) came with an intense chemical/rubber smell

I’ve tried washing it many times, it might just be that potent rubber smell

No concerns at all with him destroying rubber Kong’s and eating or choking on pieces.
