The only thing it's missing is a great volume control

It works as a volume control but it shouldn't decrease the volume to do so.

While the volume control worked fine, the clip is very weak and doesn't hold well.

This item would probably last much longer than the cheap Radio Shack control, but the sound quality is completely unacceptable

(most cheap volume controls (potentiometers), start making noise after a short while).

I recommend this if you want a nice simple volume control that works.

This control solves that problem

At the Loud end of its adjustment range, the control is very gentle and smooth.

Volume control works well, especially if you're too lazy to adjust the volume on your device.

Ten years ago I loved my Koss volume control with my sony cassette walkman, it made everything Super loud

I have several MP3 players now, and they all have hi-tech context sensitive controls

Useful and excellent product for headsets and personal hearing gear that lacks built-in volume control; especially well suited for use with laptops and notebooks, which tend to have only rough volume control that works in too-large steps for proper, comfortable use.

And I will always prefer a hardware volume control to a software one.

And because volume is a spinner you have better control when turning volume up and down without having to slow down the workout

Bose QC15 headphones don't have a volume control and when I changed my TV to smart the sound was too loud, this control works well and saves my hearing.

I am very please with the easy control I have over the headphones now.

Despite that,this is a good control & it doesn't have a stupid price.

(Their ''Titanium'' headphones come with a less durable but more convenient linear slide volume control that is easy to mark for reference.)

But it is very effective at providing very sensitive control of output to my headphones for quiet listening at night.

Excellent volume control

I had a bad volume control on my computer speakers and bought this and some cords to replace it

I broke the last two earphones (quite expensive ones)at the plug, and decided breaking a volume control would be cheaper

Overall this is a wonderful volume control.

Works great as an external volume control

This control solves that problem.

While I like the fact that this product gives you adequate control of the volume (up & down) of my headphones, that don't have their own, separate volume control, the product would have been better, if it had just a bit more volume output

This gives me some extra cable length on my headset and provides easy volume control at my fingertips.

I drive the night shift, so now when I plug in to the SkiFi unit I dont get my ears blasted, very soft controls works flawlessly

I bought this with a specific use in mind: to use it with an old but good n' comfy Sony MDR-A34 vertical in-ear short cord headphones and my trusted Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip playing flac files
