    Koss VC20 Volume Control

    • Anyway, I contacted KOSS recently (Sep. 2011), and they said that their "current stock of VC20 have a straight plug."Final thoughts:The amazing combo KSC75 + VC20 costs less than a set of crappy, flimsy, bad-sounding Sennheiser headphones with vol
    • The headphones are VERY loud when plugged directly into the computer when the system volume is any higher than 2%, so having a mechanical limiter like the VC20 is essential
    • Only works on full volume, when at all other levels sound only comes out 1 speaker not both headphones.
    • I have nice noise-cancelling headphones that I use with this item and can not tell any audio distortion or loss of quality by having them plugged into this as opposed to being plugged straight into the speaker.
    • I really enjoy their headphones.
    • I bought a set of noise cancelling headphones for a trip and want to use these to control the volume
    • My helmet is not fancy enough to have build in speakers, so I use a torn-apart set of cheap headphones
    • Although the headphones are excellent, they only turn on and off (having no volume control of their own).
    • This unit was bought together with JVC noise cancelling headphone.
    • I prefer headphones for TV use.
    • There are headphone amplifiers available which have that, if that's what you really want.
    • Works great, I was using headphones for my TV's stereo output and the sound was way too
    • If you're like me, you use your fancy expensive noise-canceling headphones at work to block out distractions.
    • This is a lifesaver for using headphones with my Dell D610 laptop which boasts an extremely noisy headphone jack with lots of interference at low volumes
    • By using this external volume control, I can adjust the volume so it's comfortable using headphones with the volume turned up high enough that the background hiss is reduced so the receiver audio is clear.
    • Thankfully no issues with this one and it saved me from having to buy an expensive headphone amplifier.
    • I purchased the Koss VC20 "Remote Volume Control" when I bought my Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7B noise-cancelling headphones.
    • and it actually made the headphones sound worse than when I did not have this volume control in
    • I use it with a Blue Tooth receiver to work as wireless headphones with a set of ear buds
    • I have a Koss Headphone but leaning back in my chair was not quite long enough plus the volume control is very handy to make a quick volume control when needing to make quick volume controls as well as getting some more space.
    • I have used VC20s for several years with my noise-cancelling headphones to overcome the limitations of aircraft volume controls (usually only a few discrete settings)
    • This way we can both have it as loud or as low as we want.
    • Agreed, it was inexpensive, but I still have a volume problem almost as bad as before I got it.
    • Works exactly as I expected
    • Overall it works and gives me a way to control the volume but not as sensitive as I would like.
    • it works as it should and faces rude treatment during use yet continues to work
    • THe price was right and the thing works as I expected it to
    • Works exactly as it is supposed to
    • I bought this with a specific use in mind: to use it with an old but good n' comfy Sony MDR-A34 vertical in-ear short cord headphones and my trusted Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip playing flac files
