Extra resistance is a great thing

This time the thing never worked from the first moment I tried to use it.

I loved this thing from day 1

I guess I could put it this way---you know how some things feel cheap and plasticy, well this is a plastic thing but does not feel cheap somehow.

Its a little embarrassing using this ugly thing when I really like the look and feel of my headphones.

You don't use buttons; on this unit you use a dial (which to me it is a good thing).The cable on this unit is pretty long, so I imagine it can also be used as an extender

The MS Zune ipod is a great little thing but just doesnt have the volume needed to watch some low volume videos

I use this with my MP3 player because I'm trying to minimize wear and tear on my old player and I don't like my panasonic headphone volume control slider thing

but that is probably a good thing.

I bought this to replace a unit that came free with some helmet speakers, this thing works great, much better than the unit it replaced.

You can also use it for other clever things such as individual line volume adjustments without the use of a mixing board or compressor

This thing works great

It seems that things ought to work well but for the price, I can't complain.

Main thing is they work well.

Admittedly, it doesn't say that on the Amazon page, so that's a good thing

I recommend you go to radioshack and get the same thing instead of the KOSS.I like the way the Auvio volume surround is made also, you'll have to find out for yourself

I bought this with a specific use in mind: to use it with an old but good n' comfy Sony MDR-A34 vertical in-ear short cord headphones and my trusted Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip playing flac files
