Using this volume control, I can turn up the volume on the Dell to overpower the static while keeping the volume of the music in my ears low

The wheel is recessed below the side surface of the body to avoid accidentally adjusting the volume and protect the wheel from damage.

While the volume control worked fine, the clip is very weak and doesn't hold well.

It isn't staticky, but its lowest volume is just too loud; our Roku does not have its own independent volume control, so the only way to lower the sound is through this unit, and the only way to get it below a certain really-kinda-too-loud level is to physically disconnect it

but the TV volume control is inactivated while the box is plugged in and the volume was LOUD with no way to control it.

The Koss lets me reduce the volume and works well.

Some light jazz, trance, or classical music from Pandora or my external hard drive helps, but having the volume up too high is more distracting than not using the head phones at all.

Seems to lose some volume to one side of the headphone if I adjust too low.

The maximum volume isn't loud enough, it's more like medium volume on other controllers

Turn the volume all the way up, slightly louder than normal listening, then use it to turn down the volume a bit from there, depending on the song

To handle this need I purchased the Loss VC20 Volume Control.

I don't know what the circuitry is in on the inside, but for my speakers, I have to have the knob at a very low setting, otherwise the sound volume gets outrageously loud.

I have a Koss Headphone but leaning back in my chair was not quite long enough plus the volume control is very handy to make a quick volume control when needing to make quick volume controls as well as getting some more space.
