Okay, finally a really fast large capacity external drive.

The problem with that drive and a few others that is when the computer would go to sleep, the hard drive would become unavailable.

The package comes with the two cables and the external hard drive.

I cannot even find the screws that secure the drive to the metal case.

Received this week the 8TB USB-C LaCie external hard drive and while doing a backup from the iMAC 2017, the drive went offline

I expect that this drive will work as well.

This drive did not work out of the box with my PC

The hard drives itself work great too.

This hard drive is great, has enough capacity at a good price, but the one bad thing is that the USB-C to USB-C cable they ship in the box is very poor quality and overall very slow when doing backups on my 2016 MacBook Pro

My son is a commercial pilot and it on the go all the time and also uses this external hard drive and loves it

It's very frustrating to buy an expensive hard drive that can't make it two months.

After "googling" and chat with amazon TS, i saw the word "OPTION" on my PS... then i could format the drive as EX-FAT at 2Tb!!!7. going back to mac and couldn't format the drive, so i tried in windows and format it as 2Tb NTFS, then went back to mac and format it as Mac OS or APFS at 2TbSpeed

This is my third Lacie hard drive that's failed me in the past year

This drive is amazing

After about 1 month of use, this hard drive crashed and/or is severely damaged beyond the point of even being recognized when plugged into my computer.

I received a Used-Like New version of this hard drive, so the installation setup assistant and other startup files were not on my drive, and I had to reformat it to work with my Mac computer (it was formatted for Windows)

It is a very stylish and elegant portable drive that works perfectly.

It didn't mount or allow me to initialize for any of three computers I own, and when I took it to my neighborhood shop, he confirmed the drive was dead

Additionally, the Lacie setup software asked me if I wanted to divide the hard drive into Two separate drives, on for MAC OS and one for Windows.
