I purchased these strings after reading that they had good projection and were capable of a wide range of expression and I found these comments to be quite true

I was quite pleased with the balanced sound, warmth, and fantastic projection of the strings, but unpleasantly surprised when, after only one month of average use, the D string snapped at the ball end and popped off

I came from using the Pirastro Wondertone Solo Series with a Gold E string and I was more than happy using these at the time, but feel that I cannot go back after having experienced this set
