I wish the adhesive was a bit stronger, but the LEDs work great in my projects.

These are not the highest quality lights, and the adhesive is completely useless.

So the one link I had to use the connection clip, when the adhesive backing gives out and the strip falls the clip gives out and takes out the rest of my lights

It's good adhesive, but the weight and the heat from the strip causes them to pop up in my experience.

I did run a double strip in the main work area in case they dim over time (or our eyes get older).I used the LED clips at the ends and one or two in the middle of a 6' run, not sure yet if the adhesive will work well enough or if I'll need more clips

In conclusion, I would say that the adhesive is perfectly adequate for most uses, you may have to use some extra glue or other fastners to use this on surfaces like wood or the latter
