If you need stick the strip lights to other surface, you should clear the surface and keep it very smooth and dry, otherwise it maybe fall off

Just clean the surface with PVC primer or rubbing alcohol prior to applying sticky back strip.

Painted surfaces that are smooth and rigid tend to allow this type of adhesive to stick well, as well as smooth metal surfaces like aluminum
