There are decent skills
-
but I can see a 3 or 4 year old learning colors and fine motor skills from the game.
-
Colorful, pretty and helps facilitate math skills.
-
Daughter loves it, definitely to play for 3 and up as some of the fine motor skills needed aren't there for younger ones and they may get frustrated.
-
Also, using the stylus to create bows is great for little ones working on fine motor skills
-
But even if that improvement was made, there isn't enough sound-learning (maybe that's a pun?) in this part of the game to really teach any significant learning skills
-
Currently both Minnie Mouse and Mr. Pencil are keeping her attention and encouraging her reading skills.
-
Their fine motor skills should develop from using the stylus which I hope will translate into hand writing skills
-
They usually end up playing the bow design part, but there are 4 other minigames, including hide and seek and dress up, that enhance memory skills and/or help them learn letters and letter sounds.
