    Left 4 Dead 2 - PC

    • "Dead Center" is a fight through a shopping mall, "Dark Carnival" takes place in an amusement park, "Swamp Fever" sees the survivors attempting to get through the bayou, "Hard Rain" involves a two-way trip to get gas during a major thunderstorm, and finally "The Parish" puts you on the streets of New Orleans attempting to reach the last helicopter out
    • Another map, Dark Carnival, features carnival games you can play for achievements
    • To me for example, the endings of Dead Center and The Parish are arguable the hardest (and absolutely require a team effort), Dark Carnival would be next with Hard Rain and Swamp Fever maybe a little easier than the others
    • The ones I go back to the most are Dark Carnival, which takes place at a cheesy little amusement park, and Dead Center, which involves a Shopping Mall and my favorite finale

    • "Dark Carnival" add a bit of whimsy as you can play some of the carnival games (kudos to Valve for bringing back the Half Life 2 gnome for an achievement), race up and down a roller coaster as zombies chase endless after you, and eventually reach the end which culminates in an inspired ending scenario that's completely different (and a tad whimsical) than anything else in the game.
    • All the campaigns are excellent, although the Hard Rain and Dark Carnival campaigns towards the end are probably the standouts.
    • Nothing really stands out or shines as much as in the first one
    • It is also the hardest SI for players to master as there are special rules about charging
