While not overly revolutionary it does on occasion make for a nice change of scenery

Its just a more static vs mode which is a nice change of pace but nothing that's a game changer.

Left 4 Dead was a fairly innovative change of pace for the "zombie game" genre, and it came at a time when the zombie thing wasn't as popular as it is now.

Another factor of note is the game takes place during the light of day in various campaigns but its a welcome change of pace
