If they could fix the power off pop, ( and maybe dim or not use the blue LEDs), I'd give it 5 stars (for what it is, an inexpensive, basic amplifier)
-
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and call it a defect)- Shoddy construction: knobs are all at different angles to one another, lettering and markings on faceplate are half printed, solder is visible around the rear inputs, etc.- Overall weak amplifier sectionThe capacitor pop is the reason I am returning my unit
-
But the sound quality isn't as good as the original Tripath amplifiers that this is based on, so I'm taking away a star.
-
This one uses a cheaper amplifier chip, and it has distortion at higher volumes, and the sound quality is a bit stunted
-
Great little amplifier.
-
This is best used as a basic amplifier until you can afford something nice
-
This is actually a good amplifier
-
decent, inexpensive amplifier
-
I needed a compact amplifier to place on my desk to power a small 2.1 computer stereo system
-
Great little amplifier
-
sound breaks up as you turn up the volume.
