Paper itself is smooth, thin, & off white, and the hardcover protects the notebook very well but be advised if you're hard on this notebook the cover will show dents and scuffs

This is notebook is durable and well setup

The notebook is dotted like a grid at the corners of each square

After a lot of trial and error, I've concluded that Leuchtturm is the best notebook in this particular niche

Anyway, I'm keeping it because I need to start my September bujo, but it's very disappointing to receive a relatively expensive new notebook in such poor condition.

This notebook is tied in my mind for the nicest quality notebook I've ever used, tied perhaps with the Rhodia Rhodiarama

and I love the notebook so much!
