The hard cover is super nice and protects the journal from getting corner folds on the pages which I absolutely DESPISE.

I like to use Pilot G-2 07 pens and have had issues with ink-running if I close the pages too quickly on cheaper journals

I ordered one (a black one) and ordered this blue one for my brother, both of them really enjoy this journal

if you've flipped them with too much of a grip multiple times/spent too much time with it flattened out (not the best quality for a notebook meant for drawing in) and sharpie extra fine points bleed through, but if you use a gentle grip and something more like gel pens (a personal favorite for how cheap and varied in color they tend to be), it's a lovely bullet journal!
