The sub is surprisingly heavy too which I like.

However after that I can hear dialog clearly the surround is really crisp and the sub hits clean for an 8".However one of the speakers came DOA and trying to get ahold of Leviton or JBL is so confusing that I just purchased a seperate speaker

The sub is hefty but adds the depth you would expect.

I'm probably going to keep the sub in the mix when I break out my old BIC America DV- 32B speakers again, as they are more suitable for music

So, rest assured that the subs are powerful, and I can't discern any difference between the two subs.
