    • I have bought many flash drives as kid gifts during the last couple of years, so I am looking for ones that are attractive & well designed in terms of protection from the teenage recipients' natural carelessness.

    • I just copied my 32GB of MP3's onto the Lexar drive (writes were pretty fast; certainly faster than the Sandisk was), plugged it into the Sync USB port, and it works great!I like devices that just work like they are supposed to, without making me do a lot of extra work myself!Update:
    • The larger size 32G is perfect for making media backups, document folder backups, etc
    • The 8G is perfect for making bootable Mac OSX disks, which is really valuable if your optical drive is buggy or just plain dead
