The Lexar TwistTurn 8GB JumpDrive is a well designed product and works exactly as expected.

It sucks because I bought this product based on all the great reviews saying how great the design is for portability on a key-chain

I like the design - the drive comes with its build in case to protect the connection slot

I have bought many flash drives as kid gifts during the last couple of years, so I am looking for ones that are attractive & well designed in terms of protection from the teenage recipients' natural carelessness.

for all it's good external designs, it is still a dead-stick nontheless, with no hope for me to recover my files

Sometimes, it's frustrating to see these product designers either just do copycatting, or come up with strange designs that are of very little practical value

this product is a piece of s~~~. a pure piece of lousy s~~~. buy this if you think wasting your time is a great idea.

The write speed is very slow 3-4 MB/s which is unacceptable

I just copied my 32GB of MP3's onto the Lexar drive (writes were pretty fast; certainly faster than the Sandisk was), plugged it into the Sync USB port, and it works great!I like devices that just work like they are supposed to, without making me do a lot of extra work myself!Update:

The larger size 32G is perfect for making media backups, document folder backups, etc

The 8G is perfect for making bootable Mac OSX disks, which is really valuable if your optical drive is buggy or just plain dead
