Replacing this connection with an HDMI cable totally fixed the problem, and the display now looks excellent

Crisp displays and are easy to view.

I was recommended this display as its slim profile made it an ideal candidate for a magic mirror

The display was deteriorated significantly by interference when using a VGA adapter to connect to my laptop
