Great viewing angles, great brightness, great contrast right out of the box, great colors, great blacks and whites

Previously, I was using an old 26" 720p TV that I had kept from college as my larger monitor, and the viewing angles were terrible, the brightness was awful, it couldn't decide if it wanted to overscan the HDMI signal from my GPU, and all around it just wasn't great

great color reproduction (though it did take some tweaking out of the box), fantastic viewing angles (my girlfriend and I can finally watch the TV from the bed without having to sit up to see), good brightness
