LG 27UD68-P 27-Inch 4K UHD IPS Monitor with FreeSync

    • I still recommend this display because of its cheaper price and still solid IPS panel
    • Cosmetically, this display looks better than the Apple exclusive LGs
    • :Display has been going great, no issues after 7 months, however
    • I bought this to replace a dead LED thunderbolt display that ran at 2560x1440
    • We all already know LG makes awesome display, and this one doesn't disappoint
    • Beautiful display with vibrant colors
    • The power light on the bottom of the monitor flashes on and off; this is not a behavior I want or find acceptable (there's no obvious way to turn it off in the monitor itself). The "display lost connection" mode is frustrating too, where it goes into a sleep mode almost immediately *despite* me turning off all the power saving settings I could find (hint: I could not care less about power saving; it's not useful if it makes the product worse). The full range of brightness on this monitor also isn't wide enough; in the evening its lowest setting isn't quite low enough
    • In terms of picture quality, the display is quite good
    • Love the display and how it looks on my new set up!!
    • Very crisp display - proving extremely useful for my photography editing
    • Just amazing picture quality, used it on a 2015 MBP and now with the latest MBP and the displays are just gorgeous.
    • I bought this to replace a dead LED thunderbolt display that ran at 2560x1440
    • Absolutely perfect display
    • I'm still going to keep this review at 5 stars because of having no issues and how good of a deal this display is
    • :Display has been going great, no issues after 7 months, however
    • Great display, 4k very clear, on my MacPro looks retina display!
    • However, if you want the best display for your Mac, LG's new 5K UltraFine monitor is the way to go
    • The black tones could be a bit blacker, but that'll be an issue with any LED-based display
    • The MBP display is simply amazing when looking at text and I wanted a larger screen but something that would not sacrifice that graphics quality, so I chose this LG display
    • (also I should mention that regardless of it's horrible 3 star rating on Apples website, the 5K display works perfectly fine with my Mac Pro and 2016 MacBook Pro 15 inch
