I have to keep pushing the button like crazy over and over again and works ok for like 20 sec

You have to be less than 3 feet from the tv to get the remote to work, or jam the button repeatedly until the tv is able to pick it up.

Only to now discover even though there’s a smart TV button, the button does not work and isn’t real.

Sometimes you have to press the button twice for it to work properly
