If you are seeking a simple, dedicated Blu-Ray Player with DVD Upscaling, 2D this unit is perfect

Price was great unit works in the camper just fine, the size was what I was looking for to fit in a small location.

I haven't experienced that problem with either unit...yet, although it is quite true that these units are not upgradable as there is no internet connection availability to update the firmware.

These units also require you to use the internet to review or download the instructions...so overall the LG 'support' probably ended when these cheap units immediately came off the mass assembly line.

The unit feels a little cheaper than I thought it would as far as materials used, but as far as its intended purpose I have had no complaints.

This has no frills or thrills...and while my two units seem to work for what I needed them for, LG definitely makes better units that I would probably recommend getting for your primary TV viewing.

Having completed my extensive collection of 562 Blu-Ray's, along with another 626 DVD's, I can conclusively say, that this beautiful unit works beyond satisfaction

I expected it to move between menus more quickly than my player that is 10 years old but the constant addition of new technology like playing from USB and network keep these units clunky.

This nifty little unit is deffinately worth the price
