You just open the disc tray, place the disc on it, and press the correct region button

Another CON is that it does NOT have an audio output port on the back (they hardly show you the photos of the back panel of these region-free players)

I'm not likely to take advantage of the "region-free" aspect, but it's nice to know it's there.
