When watching a DVD movie, the sound was not nearly as loud because the disk was not running full speed - completely acceptable

and then it stopped playing discs and made a strange sound.

It makes that repetitive sound that other reviewers have described

Now when I load a CD or DVD, it makes a lot of weird beeping sounds, but it no longer recognizes anything I insert

I tried using my own playback program VCL, all it would do is freeze would not play without making a horrible sound.

The sound from the movie COMPLETELY drowned out the "loud" sound the driver makes

And if that isn't bad enoughthe next time I used it each time it reach the last to tracks it made a sound like gears where skipping

When trying to import a CD to put on my MP3 player, it would just get stuck trying to read the last track and make a very annoying sound that wouldn’t stop until I unplugged the damn thing
