The C/S assured me over a DOZEN times that it wouldn't be a problem getting a replacement since I had just purchased this TV within the last several days.

On an Expensive 4K TV, shame on you LG.

The TV does have an optical port that can be used for audio but that it not compliant with 4K audio like Dolby Atmos.
