LG Electronics OLED55C8P 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV (2018 Model)

    • The extra detail in dark areas of scenes, plus the added contrast between dark and bright/colored areas, result in a truly stunning display, especially with 4K material
    • Red looks blood orange, and lacks the rich ruby color
    • Overall, other TV models and technologies are able to produce brightness levels well above 1000 nits, but LG's Oled's ability to decrease black levels in individual pixels to virtually off levels, while displaying rich and vibrant color images, is a difference maker
    • Red looks blood orange, and lacks the rich ruby color
    • Sharp and extremely vivid colors
    • Alpha 7 uses a wide color spectrum while the Alpha 9 uses a more complex color table that contains more data points
    • The colors and luminescence on this device are absolutely great
    • The deepest, inkiest, velvety blacks, the most true to life, vivid colors
    • From reading other reviews, it seems that the processor doesn't necessarily create better colors, but instead creates better contrast between the color shades and brightness levels which in turn creates a better image as a whole
    • Golden colors and deep yellows (sunlight
    • Crisp, crisp blacks, Indigo blues, vibrant reds, brilliant yellows, pure whites-all the colors are just stunning
    • True blacks, vibrant colors.
    • I was in the market to replace my 9 year old 32 inch Phillips HD TV, I settled for an OLED TV for their incredible picture quality and true black colors, I wasn't sure which model to pick, I was between the LG B8 and the C8 models, the only difference I could find was the Alpha processor used, so for those asking what's the difference between Alpha 7 (B8 model) and Alpha 9 (C8,E8,W8 models) processors, below I list the main differences, both cover more or less the same image enhancing technologies
    • This seems to happen faster with brighter colors
    • The sharpness, vivid colors, and blacker than blacks are everything they say
    • Picture quality is amazing, the color is rich and vibrant
    • The tv had excellent colors over, except for the color red
    • Literally all other colors were great until red came on screen
    • The colors are extraordinary, and the difference between 1080p and 4K is the same as the difference between SD and HD
    • The color on this TV is unreal.
    • The colors are better, the uniformity is better, the menus are much snappier, and of course the contrast is equivalent to better
    • However the color and HDR with Dolby Vision on this set is the best I've ever seen
