Every year, LG improves features and visuals in their lineup, somehow while staying aggressive on pricing to make them more affordable compared to previous years
-
First, I don't use the smart features at all because I actually read the terms and conditions due to another review and they are awful.
-
This is from the LG website:On the LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention have been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen, but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified.-You can use the remote like a microphone
-
Avoid this product if you care about smart tv features
-
And the "smart" features are really cool.
-
The Smart features are amazing
-
My kids hate this feature because I am now The TV Master
-
Haven't perfected using the remote to get connected to my internet to use the smart features yet, but hopefully will get that set up.
-
However, once this feature is disabled, and the rest of the picture tuning is completed, you’ll want to cry because you never knew a TV picture could look so incredible
-
First, the picture quality is fantastic, the unit looks great, is light weight, and has some great features
-
So are this features worthy of the $200 premium
-
I just wanted to update to get the new smart features.
-
This unit’s ‘auto dimming' feature was particularly aggressive - even before a software update which amplified the matter significantly.
-
The smart features are nice as well, I couldn’t be happier
-
I couldn't tell the difference, but it...felt nice to have that option I guess?I don't use the smart features at all, so I can't comment on them
-
How many and how extensive those features available by firmware
-
so I basically use the TV as a display/monitor which makes smart features less important to me.3rd, as a display, the picture is awesome if watching bright daylight scenes but any night scenes are often so dark you can’t see faces or background in the scenes
-
I am still learning all the smart features but you don't need to know everything tojust watch TV
-
great picture, so many features.
-
Although every year newer Oleds improve features meant to prevent burn in, it can still occur
-
The smart features make it simplistic to activate Netflix, Amazon Prime, and all other subscription channels, just go to the apps page and download
-
Smart features are good, but 4K playback freezes occasionally on some apps and many useful apps are missing.
-
Also a nice feature is that when i turn on/off the TV, the sound bar and Apple TV also turn on/off
-
The TVs interface is great, a lot of cool features, I did do some screen calibrating after I unboxed it
-
Granted, the picture quality is the best I ever had, I find the "smart" features lacking.

LG’s smarttv features are garbage, and they don’t understand it
-
1st, to use all the ‘smart’ features requires you to tell them who you are and permit them to monitor everything you do and watch on the TV
-
I also chose this version (instead of the more expensive E and W series) because all of them have the same video panel, meaning hey all have the same video quality, so there is no need to spend more
-
I often sit to the side of the TV in my recliner and the picture is as good as if I were sitting directly in front of the TV.
-
HD SMART TV which works the same as it did the day I bought it.
-
Love the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology as well as it makes watching movies an amazing experience as if you're at the theater!
-
n’t break it.
