LG Electronics OLED65C8P 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV (2018 Model)

    • Very little 4k content available without add ons, Sports extreamaly rare in 4k, and most programs are still not available in 4k, so not getting full use of it
    • Although other TV companies may be able to get the DV software through an update as previously announced, LG's has had a leg up on the competition with DV support since 2016 on its integrated TV apps such as Netflix and Vudu when the content is available which looks spectacular
    • The picture quality is really that amazing if you have the right equipment and content --
    • but if you're someone into movies and games and watching the best content - this will blow you away hands down.
    • If you are watching same content at home, it's just like the store display
    • Be sure you have Dolby Vision or HDR content to run on this to really appreciate the quality (upgrade your Netflix plan!), although even 1080p content looks great
    • When the OLED kicks in to HDR mode with the right content, it is like looking through a window rather than watching a screen
    • If u plan to regularly switch off stations (I.e. hourly) with static contents, then u might be ok.
    • No native support for DTS:X, which means that when DTS:X content becomes available on streaming services, you'll need to run those apps on a different device and through an audio video receiver
    • n’t break it.
    • I also chose this version (instead of the more expensive E and W series) because all of them have the same video panel, meaning hey all have the same video quality, so there is no need to spend more
    • Y*****e, and Amazon Prime was intuitive
    • n’t break it.
