Bought this mostly because my husband and I travel a lot on our motorcycle and I needed a case that could take the abuse of being on a motorcycle and protect my phone.

This is a great phone case

My wife's ancient non-smart flip phone finally gave out on her and we replaced it with a new smartphone.

The plastic holder inside the faux leather is kind of pliable plastic (rather than hard, brittle plastic), maybe to make it compatible with the slight variations in overall dimensions for the various phone models it supports.
