Time and time again research and independent reviews rate this as the best gaming TV of 2020
I have several other gaming monitors that all work fine at these settings and even higher, so I know the problem is a bandwidth capacity problem with the TV.
But more importantly, I need to recant my statement that the picture is "every bit as detailed, sharp and stunning as
No, but is by far the best gaming TV on the market today and I recommended it anyone who is an avid gamer.
A friend recently bought the comparable Samsung QLED, and I was shocked at how much worse his quality was
If you want the best picture quality then go no further
i was worried it was too small for tv and too big for computer screen but its not ...its perfect!! ...and great quality picture and was pretty blown away by the speakers on it
Excellent picture quality given that cable signal is not the best
Continued sound bar detection issues (quality equipment and connections
Picture quality is fantastic and support for HDMI 2.1 on ALL HDMI inputs is great (all new smart TV’s in this category should do this, most just have one 2.1 port) so future proof.
Used a samsung qt800 e-arc capable sound bar and I blew people away
In summary, a nice monitor but a painful to nest in ecosystem.
Unless you play tons of shooters and absolutely need 144hz +, with this LG smaller screen size, its making little sense to buy an expensive monitor that same price point and is using older technology .
This is for anyone who is looking for the best gaming monitor possible
The LG OLED made my old 27" 1440p LED monitor look like trash in
Having different set points would also be helpful to quickly switch between different viewing profiles like movies, TV and PC monitor modes.2
Love the picture quality, great contrast ratio, really bright and detailed.
I won't repeat all of the characteristics of OLED TVs, as I'm guessing that you've read all about the inky blacks, great contrast, and wonderful off-axis viewing that they provide.
The picture quality has the best contrast and it vastly improves the viewing experience
The black levels are truly great, contrast is perfect and the brightness is very, very good
Contrast is stunning and even 1080p HDR that Amazon likes to use is in a different league than quality I'm used to.
Even as I'm typing this now, the with a Chrome window filling about half the screen, the auto dimming keeps slowly dropping the brightness to a washed out gray, then will without warning Pop back to full brightness, clean white as it was initially set at.
I ran after the truck to catch them, but they were driving as fast as they could, pretending of not seeing me
But more importantly, I need to recant my statement that the picture is "every bit as detailed, sharp and stunning as
The built in auto dimming feature is a bit annoying for doing things like workout videos that stay on the same shot for an extended period of time
I'm working on or move stuff around on the desktop so the auto dimming wakes up and resets it to bright white.
Given the privacy/invasive tracking that is on by default, you'd have to be crazy to hook your whole house up to this IMO
To use many/most of the smart features you need to agree to a bunch of stuff that violates your privacy or they won't activate.
The invasive privacy options were also very jarring - all were defaulted to on, so unless you dug around it would automatically collect every single bit of data it could on you without asking
Overall Pros:C
