Sleek design, 360-degree sound, Bluetooth AND WiFi connectivity and great sound

It's too bad, since otherwise the sound quality is excellent and the design is superb.

Not only do the Libratone ZIPP speakers have amazing acoustic sound and sleek design, we can play them in multiple rooms

But for me the sound quality and sleek design more than make up for that slight inconvenience

I would definitely recommend this produce if you are looking for a small, wireless, portable speaker with great sound.

I shopped these, Bose and Sonos and I think the sound is better than Bose and the same as Sonos, yet you can take it anywhere, which for me, put it above Sonos (if you wanted a fixed location wired-in speaker like for your home theater, the Sonos is probably a good look).

Overall, this is a modern, clean looking speaker with really great bass and treble.

Right away I loved the look (great packaging too) and design.

I like the look of this speaker, particularly the carry strap

Love the airplay feature as well as the ability to store favorite "radio" stations.

Love using it to listen to Spotify or my favorite radio stations from around the world

Or I can skip the phone and just tap the speaker to play my favorite Spotify station

I was then able to program the 5 favorite radio stations and start listening

I have a few favorite Internet radio stations I listen to, plus, I stream spotify to it

bass and low end was missing.

Sound - is on the warm side, with good bass from a small form factor

The sound quality is very good for a speaker this size with a nice range and good sounding bass.

I like these speakers a lot, the sound quality is amazing and the battery life is great

The unusual capability, though, is the great battery life and good reception using AirPlay.

I didn't like any of the options that were the standard brand options, poor battery life if they were wireless or just not a good sound balance when hardwired and then the issue of needing more than one speaker to fill the room

Amazing sound, great battery life (perfect for when you lose the charger in a sea of boxes), and a great way to stream music/radio

What a shame, I really love this Libratone Zipp

We love the ZIPP (we named it Lupe) and was wary just because it is a bit pricey.

Ok...the above was a bit technical, but...you need to understand why the ZIPP is exceptional

I have a zipp as well as the Too speaker for work and couldn't be happier

I think the ZIPP is very sleek and looks really cool on the shelf, and the quality of the sound is great and matches the quality of the speakers that I have at home

Another cool feature, is you can mute the sound by covering the top of the speaker/ bird logo with your hand.

With the combination of AirFoil, a bluetooth connection to Echo from my computer, and 2 of these ZIPP speakers we have a fantastic whole-home audio setup that sounds fantastic streaming from multiple sources on my Mac.

Setup was really easy (similar to other bluetooth and Airplay speakers on the market) and it was easy to connect it to our office WiFi network as well as my home WiFi network

It will retain 5 internet radio stations with easy setup from the free iphone app.

It was a nice touch, and made me feel like I had purchased a great product

Terrible product, the battery doesn't hold 2 hrs let alone 10+ hours.

Amazing Bluetooth speaker sound pretty profound and clean

Latency issues, Bluetooth and WiFi interrupting each other, and issues with the speakers even being recognized in Libratones app are some of the frustrating parts of the software

This is a nice portable Bluetooth speaker but not great.

It provides tremendous bass for a portable bluetooth speaker.

Bought this nearly a year ago - biggest selling point was that I could play from any app (iTunes on my Mac) rather than downloading another special music app that was slow and ugly -not that iTunes isn't slow and ugly but not the point here

The link w my iTunes and home Nuvo system is seamless-- no glitches or breakup at all

It doesn't support Itunes (which is NOT clear from the marketing materials) and the Bluetooth connectivity is quirky.

The connectivity is mediocre, and now they force you to have an account to manage them

Second, If i connect it to a hotspot along with my iPhone, the connectivity is poor and the app does not function well.3

Wireless connectivity and bluetooth are impressively bad
