A cool feature is that the equalizer can even be personally adjusted in the UE app

If you don’t plan on using it as a portable speaker, and Alexa is the more important feature to you, I’d recommend the regular Echo

As a portable bluetooth speaker for $99 - this is a no brainer vs the UE Boom 2.

Because it was on sale and about the same price as a UE Boom 2 - and I needed a portable rugged speaker - it made sense to pick this up instead of the boom 2.

I have sent the unit info to customer support , and if something is worth commending is the communication interactions with customer support who are actually sending feedback and responding to my emails

I called customer support, and they were able to restart the unit doing a three point press key, however, it only worked temporarily and when back to the previous none working condition.

It works fine as a bluetooth speaker, but the wi-fi weakness is a deal breaker at full price

It is good and the speaker is good and loud, but it isn't as good an Alexa device as an Echo or Echo Dot
