LibreOffice is a great way to have an economical word processor

I have several Word and Excel files I need to access on a regular basis

Libre is intuitive, and it opens Word and Excel programs just fine.

But the s/w is not a good as MS Word and Excel.

So far, it's like an old version of Word or Word Perfect, which is good
