The plastic piece that cover the camera had a tear in it and it leaks water

This case is slim, strong, water/dust proof, and looks really good

I didn't do the recommended water test

but it's really a nice looking case and does a great job protecting the phone from falls and water damage!

In regards to cleaning the case itself I use warm tap water and antibacterial soap, remove my iPhone and place it on a microfiber cloth, then clean the case inside and out and dry it thoroughly

Hers also was water tested and no water leaked into the case

This case leaked water after only 4 months!

3 different times just to be sure and every time I tested it, water was leaked on the inside

Water seeped in on my first day at the beach and my phone died

After using this case, WATER GOT INSIDE MY PHONE AND DAMAGED IT!!

the glue holding plastic over the finger scanner weaken and allowed water to enter and destroyed my phone while i was using in the rain

It does great, keeps out water well (tested before my phone went in, and after, at a water park), my only thing is that I feel like the case could have better rubber proctecrion for the backside like it does the front, to prevent the case from being damaged if dropped/ scraped.

so water and dust/sand aren't a problem.

I liked it at first and seemed to protect the phone good; however, after about 10 months the little latch the is supposed to keep water out and protect the port barely stayed put by itself.

I feel secure that this case will save my phone from the water damage that killed two previous phones.

I put it on correctly, and it was maybe in and out of shallow waters for tops 30mins

My husband accidently knocked his iPhone 6 plus into our pond into 3-4 feet of murky water.

Water quickly got inside the case and my phone is completely damaged as a result.

Water came into the case and destroyed my phone.

Perfect for beach and pool, used in Hawaii and kept my phone sand and water free!!

It is not bulky at all as some other cases are and it's water resistant as well

but I'm sucked into the Apple universe, thus making the lifeproof case one of the few options I can trust to keep my phone dry (and I do get into places where it needs to be dust/water proof frequnetly).

After maybe 20 seconds of water exposure my phone completely dies

I did the water test as directed in the instructions and the case worked

Needless to say, water got in it and my phone completely broke

Also I have done the water test and no issues.

And more so, I just want a comprehensive case that covers falls just as well as water resistance, without so much excess bulk in what is a meant to be a slim phone.

Product came missing a piece (I wasn't able to toggle the sound on/off) as well as with the seal not connected to the back of the case

I do find that on occasion it doesn't sense my touch as well as if there wasn't this plastic cover over it, but the benefits out weigh that little inconvenience for me.

It protects the phone as she takes it to the pool, watches tv on her phone in the shower and withstands her drops on a regular basis

The speaker doesn't sound as clear as without the case but most people use headphones and bluetooth speakers anyways
