Interestingly the door enclosure on the one that broke was a different design than the one that still works, clearly this was a design flaw that the manufacturer was aware of but continued to sell a failing product

My daughter used this product on her new iphone 6 and her phone fell into the pool for literally a minute, water got in and even though she immediately put her phone in rice and silica, her phone is ruined!!

I suppose you might be able to find a better case, but it would likely have to be constructed of titanium and encased in lucite to outperform this product
