I had my Nuud on a 5S for years working in high water environments like boats and aquariums

grabbed it quick and water still got in and damaged it.

We bought the nuud case for our daughter who wanted to actually touch her screen and she had irreparable water damage to her phone when she used it near our pool

the screen is the part that does not protect it, there is currently water in my screen and its completely broken, I love the idea just not the case if you want

Failed water test

I cried a little inside when I dropped my iPhone 5s off a boat dock into dark murky water

So I would say it's water resistant but do not trust it to keep the water out

When I actually submerged my phone in water, water got in it, and ruined my phone

It's still protecting the phone, though clearly not water tight.

I was in the shower, and even though I checked it with the tester, eventually water seeped in and destroyed my phone...

I used a tissue to clean out the water and tested the call again, and my voice seems to come through just fine now.

I place my phone in the case, as instructed and do the 30 second water test, my phone broke.

This was used when I did the water test it failed!!!

Despite a successful water test, her phone was ruined when she dropped it in the sea

is hard to work also first time I have had a failed water test

Water leaked into the sides, therefore DESTROYING my phone

We water tested it as instructed, tried it in shallow water and the phone is ruined.

We had to send back the first one because water go in an shut down the phone - we ran the suggested test, and it was fine, and were VERY careful to be sure it was installed correctly, but still failed in the waterproof department after under 1 min in shallow water

The plastic of the case screen started to peel of and the seal on the edges would start to leak water

Water got in under the screen protector and ruined the screen

Exposure to water (rain / shallow pool) and the iPhone 5c in the case was damaged beyond repair.

With the 1st splash of water, water infiltrated the case and ruined my cellphone.

She was shooting some pictures in shallow water and water got into phone.

Whenever I tried using it in the water, water would leak into the case and I would have to rush out of the pool to rescue my phone

It is also easy to hear other people on the phone and it seems like it would stand up to water well

I have dropped it several times as well as gotten it

I recommend as it serves it's purpose

The case looks well and protects the phone as it should.

The home button used to be a thin film that was the weak link, as it would break after a year or so of use (the reason why I needed to replace mine)
