He tells me all the time how he can read now, thanks to this magnifying floor lamp.

It did not light something is wrong with this tried many times but still wont

But reading mail that comes to me on paper. is still a problem... especially have a a very difficult time reading numbers.

I was struggling because of the detail involved and having a very hard time telling the difference between similar shades of floss under normal lighting.

I bought this lamp for my sister because she does a lot of embroidery and was having a hard time seeing.

She uses it all the time for crafts projects, and crocheting/knitting while watching TV, and she loves it!

The one thing that I would like different is that I'd like the "arm" of the lamp to be a bit longer, I sometimes have hard time positioning it just where I want it.

I do a lot of quilting and needle work but had a hard time seeing what I was doing not to mention the strain on my neck

and it would squeak each time she would move it into place

Bought this for a friend of mine's father, who is having a hard time reading small print.
