Great product, work perfectly, all good except the annoying beeping sound it makes when its a bout to die

The Hospice patients I use this for, and myself, cannot tolerate the decibel level of this obnoxious "beep."

My other beef with this speaker is that each time you depress the volume buttons to turn volume up or down, the speaker emits an annoying beep, interrupting the music.

Why was it necessary to design this unit with 2 loud beeps ... one to signal the unit is turned on and "ready"...the other signals while turning the volume higher.
