The Flip was a bit lacking as well but bass and highs became more pronounced with time (as pronounced as they could be coming out of a tiny speaker)

Now the OontZ was a real surprise, great Bass, has a lot more headroom as far as volume, it can get up to 90db (both can), very similar to the output on the DK though they're both rated at 10W I felt the OontZ was certainly louder
