Bought July of 16 and now will not charge due to a faulty usb plug in built into the speaker

It's unfortunate because this would be an otherwise good product, but the shoddy USB port is definitely a fatal flaw.

USB became unusable, despite leaving the USB cord plugged in to avoid damaging the flimsy USB port.
