The messy ip-mac binding is a legitimate complaint

I could not ping the static IP; Remote admin access worked only intermittently and the VPN Server would never connect

Running this router out of your home using VPN it is good to know that you will need to get a static IP address

I used this to replace a cheap wireless router we were using only to obtain a static IP to access our in house server from the web

The problem is that it does not support dynamic IP addresses (which an IOS device necessarily has) unless Aggressive Mode is turned on, and IOS devices cannot operate with "aggressive" mode

I have a couple of devices, such as my printer, that I would like to reserve an IP for, without having to go through the printer's interface to setup a static IP.
