I placed the iron rectangle onto the back of my case and the phone snaps right onto magnet and stays put the entire drive, even on rough roads

I just put the magnet piece between my phone and case, didn't even have to stick it on my phone and the magnetic part on the holder itself is so strong that it holds my phone firmly in place while driving on smooth or bumpy roads

I put this to the test driving on very bumpy roads (work in ranches)

Will hold a very light phone if your phone is any bigger or has an extra case on it it will not hold it 1st bumpy road you hit in the car it will fall to the floor.

Love this as I’ve bought 3 gripping mounts none of which works/ holds phone especially over bumpy road conditions.

This thing is awesome and works great even on bumpy roads very

clips to any ac vent then tightens down using the rotary knob,holds my 10inch tablet in place over bumpy roads,comes with 3 or 4 magnetic pads that secure nicely to tablets and phones,awesome

but it would have just dropped my phone driving down a smooth road without any bumps.

A magnet for your phone case (you get three different sizes) seems rather strong but at times it may slide down not sure if it's due to the bad road bumps or placement of magnet on the inside of the phone case which was shown in the video to do but instructions say to place magnet on the outside of phone case
