On a higher quality DMX decoder, the LEDs start to brighten at about 2 to 4% of the control range and continue to increase in brightness up to 96 to 98% of the control range thus allowing precise control of the color mix.

Then the LEDs will start to brighten but when 60% of the control range is reached the LEDs will get no brighter
