There was no damage to the box, which was not an "Amazon" box (but the original manufacturer's box) and the packaging was pretty good, so I can only assume that it was like this before it was put in the manufacturer's packaging.

It was packaged very well on the inside with 1” corrugated cardboard along the seam and two sheets of 1/4” thick cardboard on each side of the white dry erase board

Product arrived in perfect condition, it was well packaged and easy to put in place, I would purchase this item again if needed
