Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons

    • One reason I purchased it was because I thought the number pad on the mouse was a separate of buttons
    • So if you already have things pound to the number pad you will not like this.
    • At first I was a bit hesitant because of the shape of the number pad, which looked different than the naga, and it is
    • But on the contrary they are an extension of the number pad
    • I can easily pick up the mouse with my thumb on the number pad (which is perfectly placed even for my mammoth hands) without pressing a single button
    • The colors on the number pad cycle by default, which was a nice parlor trick.
    • I also never took advantage of the extras number pad
    • The thumb keys all registered as the number keys instead of the number pad keys and I struggled with the software and WOW to recognize them as assignable numpad keys
    • The number pad on the side rests perfectly under your thumb, giving you quick reaction times for MOBA'S and other games
    • I found that the number pad side buttons felt a bit mushy, and the mouse buttons were a tad bit noisier than the buttons on my other Logitech mice
    • I almost never used the side number pad; that is, I used it 99% like a regular non-gaming mouse.
    • I still prefer a Logitech G13 gaming pad for extra buttons, but this is a much more cross-utility solution
    • A great mouse to get back into MMO gaming and helps with other things thanks to the number pad
    • I had to hold the mouse almost sideways, with the number pad almost facing me, so the palm of my hand gave me leverage instead of my ring finger.
    • I have had it for a few weeks, and once I got used to the slightly different number pad on the side, I can say I, in no way, miss the Naga.
    • I am giving it 3 stars because I have had it about a month, and the pads are already so scratched up that I am searching for replacements
    • The repair involves breaking your warranty by opening the mouse (which permanently damages the smooth pads on the bottom of it), disconnecting wires from its circuit board, prying open the clicker mechanism with a razor, and manipulating a tiny, fragile piece of copper back into its proper shape
    • The number pad stopped working properly after 4 months of use (2-4 hrs per day at most)
    • On the first day one button on the number pad didn't work
    • It has two nice big friction-less pads on the bottom and glides along effortlessly
    • The repair involves breaking your warranty by opening the mouse (which permanently damages the smooth pads on the bottom of it), disconnecting wires from its circuit board, prying open the clicker mechanism with a razor, and manipulating a tiny, fragile piece of copper back into its proper shape
    • When pushing the number pad your pinky has to press back to stop the mouse from moving, but this is fine because of the slanted design that makes a natural half circle sort of cup shape for your hand
    • gamesThe scroll wheel has right and left buttons which works great for going forward and back while surfing the webThe numb pad on the side is in a much better position than the razer naga, there is close to no strain on my hand when pressing with my thumb even the bottom buttons
    • After minimal use, three buttons on the number pad on my mouse have stopped working
    • The configuration software take some getting used to, but once you master it, it is as flexible as that produced by Razer.
    • The "G-Shift" button, which works as if you were pressing your Ctrl key, would at random cause all the keys on the mouse except left and right click AND keyboard keys to stop working and only pull up random shortcuts instead of their intended purpose
    • This thing is a massive productivity boost -- I bought a 2nd one for work as a
    • MMO buttons work as they should
    • I have also found it to be extremely functional for work-related shortcuts as well as for basic gaming
    • I also have other Logitech products such as their outstanding, and discontinued
    • and it is as good as when I bought it
    • However, when playing games that require you to click rapidly, it feels quite unpleasant, just not quite as sharp as I would like
    • As good as, if not better than, Razr Naga
