Easy integration with every device we had, easy one button changes between TV (cable), Roku, Pandora, AppleTV, anything.

My TV starts missing commands after we dust and move the emitter without realizing it, and the default power-on timing for my TV causes it to miss the input change by default, so it needs to wait longer after power-on or add a button command to set input again at end

Pointing the AVR remote (which also controlled TV volume and source selection) at the TV in that situation didn't work, and when it was pointed at the AVR on a different wall then the left/right up/down 'circle' control changed orientation and became less intuitive to use

It totally messed up the remote: it stopped changing between the TV and my Fire TV, then the remote screen froze up.

Touch screen is too sensitive causing accidental function changes from just grabbing the remote that can ruin a movie especially if your watching something you had paused and now you missed the last 20 minutes

The haptic feedback is a welcomed change from the 900.

There is no delay when changing to your favorites or any other activity

I read the harsh reviews on this, and I can explain away most of the complaints with it just being people who liked their One (and there were a lot of reasons to like it), and don't like change at all.

Guests unfamiliar with the setup were often stumped, my settings have been unintentionally changed (grrr) by those simply wanting to change channels, adjust volume, or when (for example) trying to play music from a CD, tuner, i-tunes, turntable, Pandora, cassette, phone, memory stick, Amazon Prime, or the open reel deck.

As an example of the ease of use, one touch of the screen item titled "Watch Apple TV" automatically switches on the Apple TV unit and the TV, as well as changes the TV input to allow viewing.

I also found a page up/down screen on the touchscreen, which would have solved my earlier frustration with the up/down button controlling both channel changing (short press) and page changing (long press), but I actually prefer my button solution to relying on the touch screen

So when the channel changes, I loose everything I am watching because the buffer gets dumped to pick up a new channel

Some of the times when it did work, commands stopped working as if the activity was forgotten and had to start over.
